Parent Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Usri Paul and I'm the Parent Coordinator here at John Adams High School. My goal is to increase parent/guardian involvement within the JAHS community. I would love to have more families involved within the school community, attending school events and joining the PTA which helps to create strong collaborative connections. Having a strong parent-school partnership assures student success. Family expertise + School expertise = Student achievement! I'm available for every family and student should you need any assistance. I look forward to meeting you!

23-24 Program Distribution

STUDENTS:

We will be distributing program cards (schedules) to students on Tuesday September 5th and Wednesday September 6th between 10 am and 12 pm. Please come one of those days in between 10 and 12 to pick up your schedule.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be virtual through Google Meets.

You will be able to set up 15 minute appointments with each of your child's teachers on:

- Thursday, November 16th between 5:00pm and 8:00pm
- Friday, November 17th between 12:30pm and 2:30pm

- Use the above link to find your child's teachers
- Click the link next to their name. Google Meet Calendar will pop up.
- Find the appointment time/date that works best for you.
- Enter your information and click on "book".
- The Google Meet link will be sent to your provided email address. Use that link to sign in at your selected appointment time.

Your child's schedule with teacher names can be found on the recently sent out report card or your NYCSA (NYC Schools Account) which is found at: www.schoolsaccount.nyc
